On 22 and 23 September of this year, the international conference Novatore Impact Summit will be held in Riga for the first time to support women who already hold or wish to work in leading positions in the future. The event aims to promote the economic activity of women and to facilitate gender diversity in business leadership positions. It will bring together 50 speakers from 18 countries: influential leaders, entrepreneurs, political leaders and researchers from the entire world to educate and inspire women to achieve their career ambitions and have a greater say in the economics.
ECONOMIC RESILIENCE, GENDER DIVERSITY, INNOVATION
The first day of the conference will cover topics that are important to economically active women. The event will focus on the following topics:
the ability to maintain resilience and courage in uncertain economic conditions;
gender diversity in leadership positions and its impact on economic growth and sustainability;
ways to attract investment to women-led businesses;
management and education for women-led businesses in the digital age, etc. topics.
We can compare the fight with the Covid-19 pandemic to a war with a little-studied and unknown enemy, which put many women around the world in an unenviable situation – educating children from home, taking care of housing and family meals fell mainly on women's shoulders. This has had an impact on women's career growth, mental well-being, and income. The hostilities in Ukraine added to the challenges this winter and made the economic situation even more complicated for everyone. With this conference, we want to encourage and empower women, looking for solutions through discussions on how to maintain resilience and gain courage on the way to the job of your dreams, even in such conditions of serious crisis.

KNOWLEDGE, NETWORKING AND TIME TO THINK
Practical master classes will be held on the second day of the conference. In these master classes, participants will develop a deeper understanding of change management, business sustainability and diversity, as well as get a road map on how to reach top managerial positions.
Our "Novatore Baltic Equality Barometer 2022" shows that career growth is very important for women in the Baltics, even more important than for men. Perhaps this is because it is not so easy for women to climb the career ladder due to various reasons such as social stereotypes, different attitudes, family growth and other circumstances. The conference will provide valuable knowledge, new contacts and, most importantly, time for self-reflection – to reach new heights, clear goals must be set.

The master classes will give advice on how to improve leadership skills, successfully lead a team, fight excessive self-criticism and talk convincingly about your achievements, as well as how to transform from a saver into an investor. It will also be possible to gain knowledge about the prerequisites of a sustainable company, diversity management and the Agile method in process management, etc.

The Novatore Impact Summit is an international conference for the economic empowerment of women that will take place in Riga on 22-23 September 2022. The conference aims to promote the economic activity of women and facilitate gender diversity in business leadership positions.
